Review: Christian Dior Creme de Rose Smoothing Plumping Lip Balm.

After hearing so many good things about it online, I decided to treat myself to a lip balm from Dior a while ago. And I have finally finished using it! Therefore I can do a "proper" product review of it now.

First of all, I love the packaging of the product. It's simple yet chic. Dior know how to make their products look pretty and appealing! The product itself is not bad, but I've got to admit that I was a little disappointed as I was expecting an incredibly good lip balm after seeing so many good reviews. It is a good lip balm but it isn't one of those lip balms that makes an instant difference to your chapped lips. You have to constantly use to be able to see any changes.

I love the scent of the product. It has a very subtle hint of roses which I like. It isn't overpowering which I like. Whenever I use this lip balm, I do feel that my lips become slightly plumped which is great. There's something about this product that makes my lips look better than usual, without having to wear any lipstick etc.

This lip balm has lasted me for months on end so you definitely do get your money's worth. However,  I think I just expected a little more for the price. But I certainly do not regret purchasing it!

Another thing is that this product can be quite hard to find in shops! I recently tried to look for it in Selfridges as I wanted to buy it as a gift for my friend but apparently they no longer sell it. As far as I know, Debenhams still sell it if any of you guys are interested!

All in all, I would say that it is a lip balm worth trying, particularly if you like roses! However, don't expect too much!

Kora Organics by Miranda Kerr: Foaming Cleanser.

I was looking for a new facial wash and I fancied switching things up in my skincare routine. After some research, I decided to purchase this foaming cleanser from Miranda Kerr's own skincare brand. I'm not going to lie, her beautiful face kind of persuaded me to get it. I was also quite interested as it is classified as an organic product.

First of all, I am loving the tiffany blue packaging! Tiffany blue has gradually become one of my favourite colours! The product is very small compared to other facial cleansers that I've used (90ml). KORA does not sell any other sizes which is kind of annoying. The product works out to be a lot more expensive than other high end facial cleansers as you don't get much product.

I would say that the product is actually organic as it does not sting my eyes when I wash my face. This is a bonus as many other facial cleansers tend to sting my eyes when I accidentally get product around the eye area.

The product has been claimed to be effective on acne-prone skin. Although I did feel that the product was clarifying my skin, I did not feel that it kept the spots at bay. However, it didn't break me out either. I would definitely say that this product is for those with oily skin as it may be a little drying for those with drier skin. Surprisingly the product does not foam up that well although it is named a "foaming cleanser." However, this isn't a big deal although I do enjoy using cleansers that actually foam up. When I first used the product, the scent really did put me off. The product does not smell good at all, and this could be due to its organic properties. However, you do get used to it, even though I still find it unpleasant to smell until today! All in all, the foaming cleanser from KORA isn't  bad and it is a product that I wouldn't mind repurchasing. But...it is quite expensive in the long run and I think that there are cheaper facial cleansers out there on the market that may just be as good!

Review: RMK Cleansing Balm!

It's been a while since I was last on the blogging front! Haha. It's time to get back into the swing of things now!

I have finally used up this tub of RMK cleansing balm. I would definitely say it's a product worth investing in as you can get so many uses out of it. It has a pleasant rose scent which makes the whole make up removing process feel less of a chore. Like all RMK products, the ingredients used within this product are all natural. This has always been one of the reasons why RMK has become one of my favourite skincare brands over the years.

Normally, I would use an eye make up remover to remove any mascara/eyeliner and then go over my face with some facial wipes. Therefore, I use the RMK cleansing balm as a final step in the make up removing process. The product is great for getting rid off any foundation that the wipes may not have been able to remove, and it leaves the skin feeling soft. The RMK cleansing balm is a product that I would recommend to others, and certainly one that I may repurchase in the near future.
